Hi, i was wondering if anybody here has an experience of getting league tickets for inter.

Afew of us are planning on heading over for the 4th feb game with Roma in the San Siro but on www.inter.it theres no option to purchase serie A tickets.

Would i be right in assuming that this will sell out as it would be a big decider in the title or would we be alright if we chanced our arms trying to get tickets the day before?

If anybody has thoughts on the matter please let us know.

    Cheers

Inter only average around 40,000 or so this season, while the San Siro itself holds more than 85,000. Apparently tickets for the Milan derby were only €14 a week before the game started, and even it had plenty of empty seats.

I wouldn't be any expert on it but if you can't find tickets online I'd say you could get them a day or two before the game.

I went to the 3-2 derby last season, and I was sorted for a ticket on the night, but my mates got them outside the ground. Don't even think about paying big money to agencies. Maybe Roma will take a big away support but even if they do, there will be tickets available on the day I would imagine.

I went to loads of games in 1999 when AC won the league. You could buy tickets outside the ground in official booths for the ticket price; even for the Derby.
Piece of Advice - If your going with your missus make sure she goes to the loo before the game...Bring a cushion too as the seats are ****.

I was at a meelan game last year and we booked our tickets through the hotel we were staying in so maybe you should try that.

From what I've heard before, away fan's don't really travel in any sort of decent numbers in Italy. Its only the real hardcore nutcases that do.

Inter are doing better than they've done in years, but I'd say you should still be able to get a ticket easy enough though.

The sansiro for both Milan and Inter opperate on the nice ticketing. Basically season ticket holders and pre bookers all have their tickets but no matter what the game they always hold back a certain number for on the day sales. You are always guaranteed a ticket at the box office on the day of an Inter match as they do not sell the ground out. For Milan games it was usually a few hours q before the box office opened pre calciopoli!!! Now you can pick one up for them at the ground as well.

My advice would be to go somewhere else.

    Milan is an expensive hole.

Top game you've picked, but the city is a dump.

Bit harsh. It's like anywhere else; you have to know where to go.
