Its nice, no doubt about it.Personally I'm looking forward to the Sean Price/RZA/Talib Kweli/Brother Ali albums over the coming months more then this one because I have a feeling the production on those albums will be better then that on Monch's stuff.

Still shaping up to be a nice start to the year. :)

i like that song, i want so badly for this to be a 5 mic album, after nas's letdowns and all that commercial ****e thats out there i need this to pull me back because honestly the last 2 years has made my intrest in rap go :( immortal technique was the last artist who sorta inspired me, now i find him a little too preachy lol

cant win with people like me i guess!

i havent herd much from him ....any album reccomendations ...i know he had that classic track "simon says" over the godzilla beat ...but are his albums worth getting?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭spacecoyote

well he's only had one solo effort thus far, called Internal Affairs, which does have the banger, Simon Says, probably in my top 5 hip-hop albums list!

Apart from that, his early stuff was with the group Organized Konfusion, which is also worth a listen, kinda reminiscent in style to early Tribe Called Quest/Leaders of the New School.
