Hi Has anyone used the Eurovox or similar box with NTL. I am very interested in getting one from ebay however would like to know if it will work with basic NTL cable in Dublin or do I need the NTL digital box and package. Cheers::)

You need an NTL digital box and card to avail of any digital services from NTL.

As far as I'm aware, it's illegal to use any hardware on NTL, apart from what NTL issue themselves.
