    Folks,

We're thinking of a package holiday in the sun in Feb? I'd like a quiet one and would be happy with no night life. Somewhere with good weather and nice restaurants.

Can any of you recommend Fuertaventura, Tenerife, Egyptor Cyprus in Feb? We are planning to go the week before the mid term break starts.

We've been to Morocco twice and Lanzarote before in Feb and enjoyed it but would like to try somewhere different.

    Thanks,

    Dopey

Fuertaventura is the way to go i think. Its the quietest of the Canaries. Tenerife is grand too but more built up.

I went to Tenerife last year mid season and stayed in the Tenerife Sur apartments in los cristanios (think thats how you spell it) booked it with direct holidays.

The resort itself is nice and quiet and the accom. is lovely the pool is huge and its about 5-10 minute walk from the beach - promenade where all the night life is.

    Fuerteventura is nice and unspoilt.
Plenty of vacant beaches and sand dunes
2 main resorts are Caletta Del Fuste and Corralego , the latter being slightly busier. They are quiet as regards nightlife but have a decent selection of bars and restaurants.
Weather can be very nice in Feb but can be quite windy.

If going to Tenerife then the best place is Puerto de la cruz! Its a large town but less of an obvious resort. Its in the north. Its where loro parque is located.. I see they even have killer whales there now!!
Anyway its quiet compared to other places in Tenerife. In my oppinion Tenerife is the best island as they have a much more varied climate and terrain. Leave the beach and head into mist covered mountains with pine forrests and you can drive above the cloud cover! Its lovely.

johnnyrotten.. quick question.. is your sig a piss take of certain people who end their telephone conversations with more than one bye? If so! nice one.. its pretty irritating :D

I was in Fuerteventura last Feb for a week. It was great.
    Went to Callete Del Fuste.
Been to Corelleco (sp?) but didn't like it.

I was looking for a quiet break with the missus and that's what I got.
There are plenty of decent restaurants and it was very quiet. The aparments we stayed in were:

Reasonable. Backed onto the sea which have a really nice promanade you could take a really nice walk to the beach etc.

It was mild. Warm but not roasting. It was a bit breezy too but that's to be expected at that time of the year.

Thanks Folks. Gillie, that place looks nice. Which travel company did you book it with?

Budget - online. A lot of ppl don't seem to think too much of them.
I have never had a problem - except once and that was Futura Airlines rather than budget.
