I'm trying to figure out whether or not that 17 dollar one comes with the water reservoir or not.

    maybe that's why it's so cheap :D

looks good, if not a bit big, 3 litres is alot of weight.
I thought the first time i went shooting that they seemed a bit stupid but the more i thought about it the better they seem. not only do they do the obvious and give you a handy out of the way place to keep drinks but being on your back, the cold water will keep your body cool when your running about in the bushes.

    another item on the list.

Never thought of that! Excellent. I have to say, I did fairly "overheat" a bit after the first hour or so.

apart from that, the only thing I can really think of needing now are maybe knee pads. The whole kneeling in soggy mud/spiky earth thing got old very fast.

I would say that the $17 one comes with the water reservoir installed already Oisin as it has a bite valve and a filler cap already installed. Looks like a great deal. I think I should start getting some gear now too as I already have most of the weapons I want (G3SG1, SIG P226 and Walther P99.... only an MP5k and perhaps a FA MAS togo). Not too fond of cammo patterns though so I was thinking of going for all black (SWAT Style). That Hydration backpack comes in Black too so looks like a good deal. Knee pads might also be a good idea as any time I have been paintballling I wish I had them too.

I was going for an all black load-out to, a US-Navy Seal or SWAT look but unless your playing indoor games you ight aswell be wearing pink camo as the all black stands out just as much.

    .

Just found that in the catalog. Bit of a spray with some OD green paint and it'd be good to go ;)

yep! about €100 cheaper than the camping shops.
I'm my 3rd pair of Tracpac Patrol bots (in four years) , they take a lot of rough treatment and airy / comfortable on long hikes. (the Cordura material smells a little 'chemical' at first but once aired out their excellent.).
Another great purchase where the half finger Tactical Glove , excellent protection to knuckles but leaving the 'finger tips' free for tasks you can't do with full finger gloves.

    All the best.

I think the owner of that site was up at Barrage Paintball when we met up to discuss Airsoft before Christmas.

If it was who I think it was, he lives up around Meath somewhere. I think now. If you're willing to drive out you might be able to collect.

Any contact details on the site?

Word has it this is run by members of the PDF on a mail order only bases.
Great bunch 'o lads, ( when ordering my tactical gloves they rang me back to ask for hand measurements to ensure I'd ordered correct size , even offered to send me one of each size to be sure ( I'd return the incorrect size of course))
Shipping’s OK too , only took 3 days service for boots , gloves , web belt , water can , Basha cover and 6 x light sticks...all for €20 P&P.
