I've been out for work in Santa Clara and not much to do out there or in San Jose...If you are really bored you could just walk the lenght of El Camino Real and count all the Taco Bells, Burger Kings, etc... hehe (kidding) There is the Sharks hockey team there if you are into ice-hockey, went to a game once, was ok. Pop up to San Fran would be the best thing to do. Not far away and lots to do there.
