A group of my friends from college are planning on heading to london at the end of February. What I am looking for is help choosing cheap accommodation in the centre of London. Basically somewhere that will be close to things that would keep a bunch of college students entertained by day and by night !!!

    Any help would be appreciated.

It's kind of a dive, but I stayed in Kings Hotel in Argyle Square. Was only 20e a night. It's grand if you don't plan on spending a lot of time there. Its across from Kings Cross station and about a min walk away, so you'll be close to tube and can go anywhere from there. You can book there or other hostels/budget hotels on I got cheap Ryanair flight to Luton, there's a shuttle bus to Luton Airpark Way and then get Thameslink to Kings Cross. Costs about £17 a ticket
