    Hi
I have been a sky customer for about 4 years and am moving to a new house.
I have arranged a new dish to be installed under the moving house they have.
But as there is no phone line they wont do multiroom.
I dont know when we can get line in,its a bit rural.
As I have a 2nd box and card would I be able to get fta at all?
If so what would be involved in connecting?
Sky say I can only have one box as there is no line.
    Any advice greatly appreciated
    Cheers td

Yes, you need a phone line for multiroom or else you'll be whacked with two subscriptions.

Did you order Sky as a new subscriber under your new address or have you asked them to move your equipment?

Consider upgrading to Sky+ now [no phone line necessarily required unlessing you're buying stuff on Box Office directly through the digibox; you can also phone Sky for this] and have a Sky 'engineer' move your new kit to your new house. You could watch one programme while recording another. I know it's not the same as having two people watching what they want to watch in different rooms but at least you wouldn't have to get a landline if it came down to it. Just my 2c.
