    Bravo working grand here.

Could be dish alignement. Is there any other channels freezing or giving the NSS message?

I'm just back in the UK after a 2 week holiday in Ireland. I installed a new dish for my mum. A 90cm Fortec Star. I had all channels except Setanta and some of the Liviing channels when I thought the installation was complete.

I bought the dish in Maplin and remembered something about an 'off set' being required. I double checked and sure enough the LNB has to be off set by 24.6 degrees. I turned the LNB roughly by 24.6 degrees (calibrated to 20 degrees in steps off 5 left and right) and Setanta and the other channels came good. It even improved signal strength and quality to 90% on both inputs to the Sky+ box. It was previously 75%.

I changed the dish because when recently in high winds the picture would freeze with every gust. It was one of those standard 60cm eliptical dishes and cracks had appeared. It was exposed so my new installation is sheltered now.

I agree with Byte! Sikes should check his dish.
