So in doubt I orderd the FreePort from www.thomann.de as people were saying that cheap-ish Wireless systems seem to kill the tone etc of your amp, but to my surprise it proved them wrong, I was worried about the Frequency difference in countries as stated on the discription. Their was no difference in tone between a high end planet waves lead and the sennheiser system. The range is pretty good, I think I got to around 50 meters and it starting breaking but at that I dont think you'd use that much playing a gig unless your playing Donninton

well if your looking for a wireless system and dont wanna splash out the cash I would recomend this!!!!

Aye some people are just apprehensive of using wireless systems but I've got an AKG WMS and it's pretty good. I'm sure the higher end systems have better signal control but the cheaper stuff is not to be knocked.

Ya I guess. I was looking at that! Is that the single frequency system yeah?

Most people complain because a valve amp with a wireless unit can't compete with a valve amp without one. They're so convenient though, maybe just not in the studio.

Well Im using with the Dsl401 and tbh I cant really find a difference (yet)
But ya in a studio you always use wires because you dont want signals being interfeared by computers etc.
