[Request] Cheap Printer

My friend is doing an arty type course in college and needs to buy a printer. Something simple just so she can print off pictures from the internet and such.

Basically I'm looking for the cheapest possible printer for a student; easy to use and decent (ie: it works).

Any pointers very much appreciated. We were looking through the argos catalogue but couldn't be sure on what to get.

    Cheers

    Dan

the cheaper the printer, the more it costs to run, just keep running costs in mind

Dell normally have a few cheapo printers, the Dell All In One 810 (print, copy, scan) model is 66.85 eurons (without USB cable)

HP do one for €79 - well worth the extra tenner - from experience, HP printers are faultless.

While Argos can often have the odd bargain, for technology they tend to be a little over the odds pricewise.
For example i picked up this for €209, and it's also €209 on Komplett. This though is nearly €80 dearer than on Komplett.
Worth comparing the prices from a few places but generally if you have a CC things will be cheaper online.

Dabs.ie have a HP model here for €30. The delivery charge will be either €5 or €13.50 depending on weight. Click on buy and go to checkout and delivery cost will show up there.

Not sure how good the printer is (and its only available while stocks last) but even with the higher delivery charge it seems good enough value at just over €43 all in.
