    Hey Conor,
As someone said above I teach kids classes in Glasnevin if you're willing to drive for 20 mins there. (hey I live in Swords and I do:D) We've seperate classes for young kids and teens.

Other than that I can't think of a better place for a kid than Swords Amateur Boxing Club in the old Carnegie Library on North Street, just down from The Harp Bar. try www.iaba.ie for the times or contact numbers.

Hi I know its Probably a little late But I know of a shotokan club in Swords, http://www.reddragonswords.org/v2/details.php its in Scoile Colaiste Choilm
(The Christian Brothers school), on the main street just before the turn at The Lord Mayors.

The instructor is excellent, has to be seen in action to be believed! He used to be a chief instructor in the USKF (United Shotokan Karate Federation) but left to focus on his own club . He was a Highly successful Kickboxer ( WAKO World Kick-Boxing Champion 1987) as well as winning many Wado Ryu , Goju Ryu, and Tae Kwon Do tournements, having also studied these styles.

Excellent instruction for children and adults alike, well worth a look.

Again alittle late to the thread.

But Swords judo has a great kids class. As has Ray Stear's Judo in Portmarnock.

Mugendo kickboxing in Chanel College has a very competitive junior club, info at www.safe.ie

In Baldoyle you have Andy Ryan's www.sbgnorthside.com. Andy run's a full time gym here & I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Yup, thats me. Although I could do with 'em myself this morning!.

    (Hungover, not flu!.)

Yea I kinda cried off yesterday. I had promised my daughter I'd bring her swimming. But you know Andy, excuse's don't work, so its best not to give 'em.

Nice to put a face to the name!.
