I have 2 xbox live accounts on my console.

    I bought a three month xbox live subscription but can only activate one account with it. Anybody know how I could activate the second account?

    I don't want to pay for a second one as it is on the same console.

    You can't, 1 membership per profile.

    you can still use the second account as a silver one but you would not be able to play online with it. you would still get the downloads, but not at the same time as the gold memberships for some of the content. If you want to play on live your going to have to pay for the second account

    I would have thought that the subscription would work on the console....:( ahww hell.

    Screw it! We will just use the one account than.

    There are games however which you can play with a friend and log in as a guest on live in split screen.

    The games I know of are: Ghost Recon, Call Of Duty 3, Perfect Dark Zero, Outfit, Gears Of War, Fifa and I'm not sure about PGR3. Most of them can have 3 guests under one Gold membership which is nifty.

    Some games I wish included this feature: Splinter Cell, PES6, COD2, Far Cry, Rainbow 6.

    It's really great for team games being able to see where your brother/ team-mate is on the splitscreen. Hope that helps.
