[Request] Surround Speakers for Dvd Player and TV

I got a Philips DVD recorder DVDR3450H/05 to replace my €50 digix dvd/divx player. my old dvd player came with 5.1 surround sound speakers that will not work on my new dvd player. Can anyone recommend at set of speakers i would like to attach my Tv,dvd,vcr, if possible thanks
