Anyone else notice how bad the picture quality is?:D It's very dark for one, and there's white scratches and dots popping up all over the picture. It's almost like you're looking at a camcorder version of it that had been recorded at the cinema. In 1977. Really, really bad. It's not in proper widescreen either so there's huge chunks of the picture missing on either side, almost like it's zoomed all the way in to get rid of the borders on the top and bottom, if you get what I'm saying.

Anyone else watching it? It's almost unwatchable, the camera is zoomed in so much.

It was the Special Edition (1980). I was actually quite glad to see it despite the quality. It's not available on DVD in this form.

It's on Paramount at the moment. The reason I'm posting is to ask a question. You know near the end where we are shown the group of people hand picked to go into the giant spacecraft ? Those people in the red jumpsuits? Is one of them Zsa Zsa Gabor? The 60's Hungarian actress? I know it's a random question but I have always wondered.
