Got flights and accommodation for half nothing but it sounds expensive. Apparently the aquarium is closed in January and seeing as I'm going this month, I could do with a few suggestions as to how we keep ourselves entertained there on student budget. What to do, where to eat, where to get cheap liquor, where to go out etc. Please help.

Hi, it's a nice place. Very popular with surfers, depending on weather.

Jost asyou go down the slip road to the beach/promenade, the Casino is on the right.

On the left hnd side there's a restaurant with good view of the sea. Food was really nice and very reasonable. Carafe's of house wine about €5, I think the meal for both of us with wine, starter, pasta and Pizza came to €25-€30.

If you're into walkinghead northwards out of the town along the coast. You'll come to miles of beaches and can walk forever. If you get tired then you can get a local bus back. It seems to run directly up the coast.
