Got flights and accommodation for half nothing but it sounds expensive. Apparently the aquarium is closed in January and seeing as I'm going this month, I could do with a few suggestions as to how we keep ourselves entertained there on student budget. What to do, where to eat, where to get cheap liquor, where to go out etc. Please help.

Awful stuffy town. Expensive, full of old people, rainy weather.

Even the so-called Irish pub in the town is really just a French bistro in disguise.

My advice : train it into San Sebastian as soon as you arrive, its livlier, its friendlier, its chepaer.

I'll second that....San Sebastian is a fine spot ...biarritz is dead as a doornail in winter its a summer resort ....
