GPS software for Nokia N80? (S60v3 Symbian)

I'm looking for the best GPS software for a Nokia n80, which uses the Symbian S60 v3 OS.

The main contenders so far are TomTom Mobile and Route 66 which both work on the OS, but I'm not 100% sure if they are 100% compatible with the phone.

My main concern is accurate Irish maps, which Dublin being the main priority but full rural mapping is also fairly important (thinking ahead).

from what I've read, the best Irish GPS maps are made by Navteq, but they just do the actual mapping, not the software.

has anyone used either of TT or R66 on a mobile phone in Ireland? are they any good? do you know if they use the Navteq maps?

I got a Holux GPSlim236 off ebay which I've so far only tested on my modest 6230i but it's very impressive speed/accuracy wise.

I found a site called www.nav4all.com which has a handy java app for just about any newish phone that works with navteq maps and has some good features, including an up and coming track & trace setup, so you can find/follow yours or employees routes. would be handy for taxi or courier firms i think.

it seems pretty good from my limited use so far (lets see how the journey home goes at 4pm :)), but uses gprs to get map data which if you don't have a data plan could work out expensive.

This is from the Inquirer today:
Nokia to offer free mapping software
For Series 60, Windows Mobile, and PC

SHORTLY AFTER our Nokia N800 internet tablet review, Nokia have announced plans to release the Smart2go mapping and route-planning software free on a range of Nokia and non-Nokia devices, in this press release.
Nokia plans to start offering the application for free, on Saturday February 10th, for selected Nokia S60 and Windows Mobile 5.0 devices initially and has plans to roll out support for most of the major mobile OS platforms including the full Nokia S60 series, Series 40, PocketPC, Linux and other Windows Mobile devices.

If your phone or device doesn't incorporate GPS functionality, it will easily work with an externally connected compatible GPS receiver.

Smart2go is a hybrid map solution. Map data from Tele-Atlas and Navteq can be downloaded directly via wireless network (e.g. GPRS/3G/WLAN) and stored on the device's memory card as needed, if all the desired map data is stored locally, no network connection is needed for mapping, routing and navigation.
... [lots more at the Inq]

I think I hear the screams of all those proprietary map vendors.
Maybe the days of us being creamed for geodata we have already paid for are coming to an end..?
