being a suspicious mofo I might just check hand 1 down
don't mind the value bet tho'

hand 2 is fine, did he call?

what's with this wife swapping anyway?

Hand 1 - Looks like he has ace king. Sucks if he check raises the river though. I think half pot value bet is fine.

Hand 2 - I might make it 140 rather than shove. I dont want him to make a sick fold.

    Hand 1
I felt $55 Was an amount he would call with AK maybe KT...I never thought he'd go for the check raise on the river.....But that's what the muddfuker did ..I called obv. and he had 33.
Was my holding that obvious?????Did he know I would value bet my AK, AA on the river....???Should I ever just check behind here against this good opp!!??

    Hand 2
Probably not that interesting...It was just that i thought all 2 pair, set hands would lead out on that flop....But ye can never tell

He really pondered and called with Q8..I hit my flush And won ..So it was obviously the right play.

I like both hands though as robin says I would bet a touch more on the river in hand 1.

    Hand 1
You only have 1 Pair and he bet the turn , so check it down.
    Hand 2
    Fair enough

Does anyone think that it would be best to reraise the villian on the flop some of the time in hand 1?

Well I thought about it but....Lets say i make it $40-$55, Well I will call his all in seeing as the board contains Td Kd(co-ordinated)....

Or would you think I can make it 45 and fold to an Allin?
I don't think i should against this guy...
Originally I thought, the way I played it I get most From AK...But the more I think about it I don't think He plays AK like this...:(

Re. hand 1, is this really a such straight-forward value bet on the river, as indicated by some of the replies? Does this guy ever call with a hand you beat; even AK folds most of the time here, surely? (and AK isn't too likely either considering we have two of the aces)

Well the flop will be a good one for our holding on most occasions as AK is a definate part of his range..

much less likely than a pp given that you have two bullets already....

<edited; what the above dude said>

hmmm, I'd check behind alot in the first hand. second hand is fine.

Its a straight forward value bet because he will almost always bet a hand that beats us on the river. Generally when he checks the river, we should bet AA and even sometimes AK not just because we have the best hand but because the thinner we value bet this river, the easier it makes our river bluffs in the future. Plus I think betting AK here is good if it can push him off a split. Anyway, he rarely has a hand that beats us that checks the river.

I check behind in hand 1 - your hand is obvious, and he might checkraise you here.
Usually when somebody leads hard like that on two streets, he has a big hand. He didnt slow down on the diamond either, so he prolly has a big hand. Its hard for you to get value out of AK, and most ppl would check/call or check/raise AK on the flop.
Value bet against monkeys by all means, but I dont see much value against this guy ... I mean what can he put you on - your hand looks so much like one-pair (now two pair).

    Hand 2 = good.

I dunno - the turn bet on the diamond, with us holding Ad is rather telling, dont you think?

River check is great for him, as hero has a lot of bluff hands (like AdQx, AdJx) and he might try to value bet a made flush and he might do something like vb AA/AK
