Is a Ryanair Sale ever really a Sale

    From ryanir website:
Ryanair, Europe's No.1 low fares airline today (Thursday, 4th January 2007) announced that it had honoured its New Year's resolution to keep its fares slimmer than ever, by releasing 5M seats for just €9.99 tax included in its biggest ever January Seat Sale. While other airlines have been piling on the pounds over the Christmas holidays with ever higher fares and fuel surcharges, Ryanair's €9.99 fares are all lean and no fat.

--> Sounds good deal - 9.99 INCLUDING TAX - but no matter what route / dates I try I cant find any total fare that is 9.99. Do they actually mean 9.99 including some and not all taxes and fees ?
    ie would
    PSC
    Insurance and Wheelchair Levy
    Credit Card fee
    Baggage Fee
    Online Check-in fee
always be extra to the 9,99?

It does indeed include the tax, but not charges, so all the things you've listed are extra.

Ryanair are the kings of spin, but it's still a pretty good deal.

"Private company in misleading public shock horror!" :D

Just remember that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

and remember the cheapest fares are only to destinations you don't generally need like Doncaster or Lodz. Also, school holidays and bank/public holidays are excluded too. Oh and the weekends of the main sports fixtures are generally not available either - so book a trip to Haugesund on a Tuesday morning at 6am and you should get that cheap fare...

Funny... I was waiting for years for them to start flying into Baden Baden!

Now that they are, myself and a friend can fly there for half the money we were being charged by HLX to fly to Stuttgart, and it's much closer to where we need to be!
