FREE €10,000 Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament

To help welcome in the New Year, The Riverside Casino Club will host it’s first FREE Monthly €10,000 Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament in January 2007

Buy-in €50
Registration €5

There is 100% payout every night

In addition to the cash prizes on the night, all players will receive points for attendance and for finishing position

All games catered for by professional dealers.

Attendance = 20 pts
Finishing position is awarded in accordance to placement in tournament
i.e. First out = 1 point, Fifth out = 5 points

Cash game players will also receive additional points

20 points allocated following 2 hours of play

Tournament commences nightly at 9.30pm sharp 3,500 value chips + 1,500 Early Bird value chips

Re-buys available for first 1 hour and 20 minutes

€50 = 5,000 value chips (no additional reg fees)
Top-up €50 = 5,000 value chips


Players must have less than 2,000 value chips in order to Re-buy
(This does not apply to Top-up)

The Riverside Club is open every night from 8.30 p.m

Hi Riverside Club,

Your post is misleading, or maybe it is just because I have been dozing on the couch and I am still tired.

Can you please explain either how this tournament is a free 10k event or else please edit your post to state that it is a qualifier to a 10k event as well as having a prizepool of its own.

Also, please update to follow the charter as laid down in the tournament sub-forum. If this is not done then this post might have to be deleted. These are rules that all tournament advertisers have to follow.

Also, what are the points for?

Hi there,

My apologies, the rebuys and top-ups will be of a value of 5000, no matter if the player was early or late. Only the first stack will be the amount of 3500 for non early bird players. I have corrected this is the first post.

As regards the Free 10k tournament. The club will be putting the Full amount of €10,000 forward purely as a promotion. It is literally a free tournament, nobody can buy into it.

How players qualify is through the nightly tournaments. We have a €50 + 5reg rebuy tournament every night here. This is played as normal and 100% of the prize fund is paid to the winners.
But also points are given to players who attend, like a league system (explained above). There are also points given to cash game players. A record of every player's points is kept and at the end of the month, the top 30 players with the most points, will be entered into the Free €10,000 tournament.

The only one i think we have left out is the ante structure, sorry about that :

Ante Schedule

20 mins 25 - 50
20 mins 50 - 100
20 mins 100 - 200
20 mins 200 - 400

Break and top-ups

30 mins 400 - 800
30 mins 800 - 1500
30 mins 1500 - 3000

Then..
1 hour minimum 3000 - 6000

The tournament director can then raise the ante further if they deem it necessary



Also the nightly tournament prize fund will be distributed as follows:

5 or less players - winner takes all

6 - 10 players : 1st 70%
2nd 30%

11 - 20 players: 1st 60%
2nd 25%
3rd 15%

21+ players: 1st 50%
2nd 25%
3rd 15%
4th 10%

Players in a position to do so may do deals if they inform management.

All disputes are handled by the tournament director.
