    Hey all,

Just seen that the pilot/miniseries for the new incarnation of BSG is on Sky Two right now - 8PM

Side note: Anyone know why all of the dialogue between Six and the Colonial Officer on the space station at the start is reduced to her simply saying "it has begun" ?

She didn't ask him if he was human? (or real or whatever it was). Probably just time restraints or something.

    Don't have Sky 2 anyway :(

hmm.. the mini series should be three hours long. According to this, the Sky 2 show is on for just over two and a half hours, including ads.

Unless they're splitting it up I'd say this is a highly edited version.

    Looks that way:
Cut the initial sex scene between Baltar and Six and I think the scene where she kills the baby is gone too

I saw it on sky a few days ago, it was cut as well. It was on during the day so I assume they cut it to make it kiddy friendly.

that is the most stupid thing ever anyone who watches it for the first time is less likely to love the show and keep watching every single episode, BSG would be a great show to air at 7 every night simpsons has been on for way way too many years at the 7 slot

Yep.. plus its on RTE/C4 within the same 2 hour timeframe as well... but it brings in the ratings (even after all these years and as bad as it is now) o I can't see Sky moving it.

8pm is better though as I think they can get away with post-watershed stuff at that hour (certainly can for the movie channels anyway) thus less editing - in theory anyway!
