    Hi All.

I'll be stopping off in atlanta airport when transferring flights on my way to S. America on Tuesday.

I need to get myself a decent digital camera and was wondering if anybody knows is there anywhere to go shopping there when you're transferring flights ?

    Cheers in advance ;)

It depends on what terminal you are going through, there are pretty good shops there in some of the terminals though as far as i can remember i went through A and D I remember being in a gadget shop there that had cameras but i wouldnt be a camera buff so didnt really take much notice

Here's what I think will happen:

You'll land in E. That's the international terminal. I'd say you won't easily be able to exit the terminal as that would involve going through customs and immigration. So, methinks you'll depart from E also.

Duty free shopping there is OK, selection-wise. The unfortunate thing is that duty free is no longer the cheapest option. It doesn't seem to beat retail any more (Walmart, Target, Costco, Best Buy, Circuit City...). You may find the prices cheap however, since the dollar is weak right now.

    Enjoy your trip!
