Anyone recommend someone in the Cork region to supply and fit a standard outdoor (chimney) tv aeriel.....

Roughly how much should I pay for the lot ??

    Thanks

Would depend where exactly in the Cork Region.
In the city and line of sight with Spur Hill or Collins Barracks transmitters a cheap contract 10 element UHF aerial would do fine for all 4 Irish stations.
An attic aerial may be OK for some people.

Other areas you could be talking about 2 aerials, (VHF and UHF, or two UHFs) for the 4 Irish channels

Thanks - why is nothing in life ever simple :D

I'm in Douglas - roughly half way up the Well Road & the houses around tend to have only one aeriel - not huge ones at that.....

Can't do an attic aerial as we have it converted.....

Can be tough to get info on that kind of thing. I found the "Traditional" TV retailers, i.e. the guys who've been around since the dawn of television who probabally sold Cork's first valve radio are great for advice on such things. the new chains are totally useless unless you want a cheap plasma.

Sorry just noticed your posting above :) Good luck with it!
