My sister wants to know if anyone could reccommend any second hand bridal shops preferably in the Munster area, but obviously she will travel further for a good selection. Thanks.

    hi there...

i was just about to post about Barnardos... these ARE NOT second hand dresses... these are dresses that were in shops but did not sell or came in in wrong sizes..... they are all brand new dresses....

The max u will pay for a dress here is 600... a girl I know who was getting married last year and money is absolutely NO OBJECT bought her dress here as she found "the one" I think she paid maybe 300 and she looked A MILLION DOLLARS... they also do mother of the bride outfits too.. but it is strickly by appointment...

    check out the barnardos website!!

    Good luck!!

    xxx

Don;t think you are going to find any second hand shops that will "BUY" your dress. Maybe the buy and sell or adverts.ie instead.

    Hey there,

I think it may definitely be worth your while checking out Carla's range of sample and second hand gowns at Smart Brides based in cork. She has a huge selection of designer dresses like pronuptia, la sposa , pronovias and lots of others. Most are priced at about 450 euro. Huge range of dresses too! :pac:
Her number is 021 477 0670 or 0877 888 157. Cant remember the website address so call for info...she may accept second hand dresses too...

    Yes,

There's another one called www.dresstrader.com for wedding, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, irish dancing, first communion and formal.

I have sold dresses on it. Dresses don't make as much as you think they're worth but it beats hanging in a wardrobe when you know you don't need them any more. Its great for those buying dresses though.

Hi .. we're just launching a new online pre-loved bridal store; for dresses in Ireland. We're just getting all the dresses on the site so have a look and keep checking.. www.cherishedgowns.ie

You have on your home page that you're the only such site in Ireland, you may want to check this out as there is www.dresstrader.com , www.thatsmydress.ie and others specifically for Ireland too.

    Hi,

You can advertise your dress for free at the minute on www.dresstrader.com. That way you'll get all the proceeds of the sale.

This thread is not for buying and selling wedding dresses. The OP has asked for information about 2nd hand wedding dress shops. If you wish to buy or sell wedding dresses go to adverts.ie.
