    Hey all,
I'm cleaning out a laptop for a friend at work and I'm trying to get rid of the massive fuji crapware that was installed with his digital camera.

Now, all it needs to function is the usb drivers.

But I can't delete the programs cos they say they want 'installation discs'. But he doesn't have the discs anymore so the program refuses to be uninstalled.

    I am speechless.

    And very pissed off.

How do I get this sh*t off?

    Thanks!
    Quad

Have you tried searching Fuji's site maybe you can download the software re-install it and then uninstall it, that would be the best option.

You could manually remove it, use Hijack this to nuke whatever it loads on start-up if anything, then use the Windows Installer clean up utility to remove the Fuji entry from Add/Remove. After that delete the Fuji apps folder and whatever else is left behind.

Though you do run the risk of deleting anything related to the driver and the camera stops working in Windows.

Cheers 8T8. In the end, I just deleted the entire fuji directory and everything to do with Fuji except for the device driver. I used CCleaner and Hijack This to remove the registry entries etc. and to tidy up.

We'll see later if the camera still works :p
