Can anyone fill me in on whats happening tonight in the Fitz. Is it still the freeroll on a Thurs or has a new tournie taken its place.

    thanks in advance.

not a 100% sure but i think its a 150 buy in and 1 rebuy or top up....
the last time i played this there was about 4 tables...

The freeroll still happens at 7 I believe, but I am not sure if they get numbers for it anymore.

The main tournie is a 140+10 freezeout. 5k starting stack, 3x20 mins, 5x30 and the rest 45 min levels. Antes are in from 150/300 onwards. Usuaally only gets around 30-35 runners though, but it is a decent structure that plays well late on.

if 150 is abit much for your bank roll the sporting have a good value tournie, 50 double chance... they get about 80-90 runners, its not bad..
i played there lastnight and end up spliting it with another lad, good game - 40+10+5 scalp one rebuy.. nice start to the year... lol

The scalp chip is worth €5, each player has one, when u knock out a player u get their scalp. When u get knocked out you cash in the scalps of the players you've knocked out.

edit, just to be clear...when u knock out a player u get just their original scalp...not all the scalps they've collected.

Apart from the fact that both main scalps tournies that are run in Dublin have a scalp value of €10 you are correct.

I played in the Emporium last night and forgot how much of an absolute crapshoot it was!!! I went out 14th when the average stack was about 8 bb's!!!!

Absolute joke but its hard to know what they can do to avoid this happening!! I'll be trying to play the Fitz on a thurs from now on!
