new sound card

looking at getting a new sound card as old died
was looking at creative x-fi ,
was looking at 2
x-fi-fatal1y version without front panel for 135 euros or
x-fi xtreme gamer
which one would you recommend or is there another sound card should be looking at
will be for gaming mostly

The Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional (what a mouthful) is the one to get on Komplett if that's were your buying.

Don't bother with the Creative SB X-Fi Fatal1ty version. Also the Creative SB X-Fi Gamer isn't a real X-Fi card so stay away from that.

There is only one other X-Fi worth getting which was also the cheapest the Xtreme Music version but Komplett don't stock it anymore but OcUk do. It lacks the X-RAM feature but barely any games use it or will do either so it is the best one to get to save cash.

Yup thats the same one I linked to first on Komplett though Pixmania are cheaper.

They have the Xtreme Music one as well but they are out of stock.

Also forgot about the other one like the "Xtreme Gamer" the Xtreme Audio" is another "fake" X-Fi card so avoid that one as well.

just get the one from my sig. has the front box and is mid prices. The fatal1ty editions are a pure rip off tbh.

elara delivered for the x-fi fatal1ty pro is €155
and pixmaina is €149 delivered,they ask you to add some kind of cover extra 12.50 euros in case of faults

but i would go for elara would ratther help i irish company.

bought from elara before,never had a prob,fast delivery
only thing putting me off pixmania is the use dhl,had items delivered in poor condition from dhl

Go with Elara with a difference of 6 bucks though I've never had a problem with Pixmania before or DHL even if delivery is 4-5 days.

got the fatal1y xtreme gamer pro,without front panel
