Holidays for singletons!

Does anyone know of any travel companies that organise holidays for single folk????? Am a 32 yo who is rapidly running out of like-minded single friends!
Anything that I've found seems to be based in the UK & costs an arm & a leg!

I know that some people on this board tried to organise a group holiday for 20& 30 somethings but I don't know if it ever came off?

    Cheers,
    L'bow

Maybe it would't be a bad idea to try and organise a group of people to go away, maybe that way we might get a group discount. Tell me what you think.

    Anyone Interested?

At the moment I limit myself to weekend breaks because it really wreaks my head when I see the single surcharge sometimes over half the cost of the holiday again for package tours.

There are plenty of ways to holiday as a singleton. Where do you want to go?

I know where you're coming from. Holidays and the singleton aren't necessarily comfortable bedfellows :)

I've a friend who went on a holiday by herself with Intrepid Travel. She travelled with a small group and had a great time.

These links you might have tried already
The Travel Department (an Irish company)
    Imaginative Traveller
    Responsible Travel
    Exodus
    Gap Adventures

Also have a look at www.contiki.com. A mate went on one of the USA trips and said it was brilliant.
