file converters

    anyone know of a file converter that'll turn winamp to realplayer? i'm trying to free up space on my hard drive. thank you:)

    By Winamp, I presume you mean mp3? Winamp is the name of the program playing the file, not the name of the sound format.

    Anyway, this is a bad idea for a number of reasons - first of all, changing the music format from one to another will result with lower quality music, secondly Real audio is aimed at a completely different audience than mp3. Real is designed primarily to be used online.

    If you're having storage problems, why not move your music off the computer by burning it onto a CD, or you might consider upgrading to a larger hard drive, or a second external hard drive.

    But, if you insist on continuing as you like, Google has lots of links to programs that will do it for you.
