Sky HD sound

    I have started using SKY HD in the last few weeks and I notice that when I'm viewing HD broadcasts e.g. SKY Sports HD or PremPlus HD or even Sky Movies 10 HD every so often there is a split second break in sound, now its seems to only affect surround speakers, i.e. when view a match the commentary can still be hard but the crowd can't be.

    I'm using a Marantz 5600 amp via an opitical connection to the SKY HD box, has anyone else noticed this?

    Also the volume seems quite low on HD channels is that as setting somewhere?

    the slight breakup or pause is a known issue with sky, it will probably be sorted as they improve the infastructure as its still being setup

    Yup. I even got this with the sky+. Quite annoying to say the least. Whatever about a split second sound loss, my amp assumes the source is gone and adds another 3 seconds to that.
    The display lights up again when sound goes.
