Itunes account on two macs

    Hi guys,

Just wondering what way there is around this or of sorting out the following, any help with it would be great.

I am using a G5 myself and just bought my wife a new macbook for Christmas and I know very little about computers, other than how fecking easy macs are to use, which given the fact that I am posting on here would seem to be a contradiction! As it stands I have an Itunes account under my login name though with her credit card details, that was the case at the start cause I didnt have a credit card in my name, so that was going grand until I got her the macbook and now we will want to download songs to our different computers under the one account. Anyone else lost so far? To further complicate matters there is this thing of authorising each account to different Ipods, again just so as not to keep things simple I transferred the library from the G5 to her Ipod and from there to her new macbook, so I guess that should be ok and it seems to be working fine. So really want I am wondering is should I just use the G5 to download on the one account and update her ipod on this one or have I twisted myself and anyone still reading this into knots?

    Cheers

    Mike

You can authorise up to 5 Macs with iTunes under the one account. I have a Mac Book and a G5 IMac at home and that's how it works for me. Just go in to the 'Store' option when in iTunes and you'll see where you can authorize or de-authorize.

Much appreciated Very, that actually makes sense. I , for some donkey type reason, had assumed that the authorize was to do with the amount of ipods you could use with an account, but what you said makes perfect sense. Thanks again for putting me straight on that
