    Has anyone seen this? Watched in on the plance today. Didn't know what to expect, only happened to hear about it a week or two ago.

    Forest Whitaker puts in a great performance as Idi Amin. Amin was a nutter and Whitaker plays the character very well.

    Haven't heard much in the press about this movie. Could be one of those sleep hits that very few will see.

    It's not released here until the 12th, hence not much in the way of press coverage in the UK and Ireland papers by way of review. Certainly though there's been mention of Whitaker's performance with a Golden Globe nomination now secured.

    I have read the book it is based on, and I tought it was a very good read, so I am definately looking forward to this movie!

    Saw the TV trailer for it yesterday. Lots of "Must See Movie" and "Superb Thriller" type quotes running through it. Looks good....

    Definitly try to watch it if you can. Good start to my new year of movies.

    Next on my list to catch in the cinema is The Prestige (grrr CSG) and Pans Labrynith.
