    They should trade it.

I mean Oakland should trade the Raiders away...

...for a new shopping mall. :D

They should offer the Lions the #1 pick for Matt Millen. That would complete the Raiders.

You would not get a corner shop for the Raiders at the moment........maybe a hotdog stand in .....(insert name here)

It seems the consensus is that they'll take Mr. Brady Quinn... Bet he's happy bout that... Will he pull an Eli Manning on it?

We wont take Quinn, that would be the sensilble choice. He wouldnt pull an Eli though unless Raiders try and underpay him.

Hes pretty much guranteed to go to a **** team, so no point in holding out on th e Raiders just to be picked up by the Lions.

Moss it seems is set to go.. to were id love to see him at the colts or cincanatti (sp?) . But who knows, theyve got to draft a QB and just blood him, the guy from notre dame is going into the draft this year so hes a possible p1r1. but theyll prob go for a guy with good speed to be a punt returner or a new kicker :)

[Given they'll definitely draft a quarterback, i can't see the raiders getting rid of moss this season. They need to give the new qb a top class receiver and having a new qb with top class potential could reinvigorate moss. As for the number 1 pick of the draft, JaMarcus Russell's performance last night could see him drafted at the top of the draft. Those who have seen B Quinn regularly - and I haven't seen enough of him myself to comment - say he has massive holes in his game.

Tis their worst since 1962 and LaDainian Tomlinson getting more TDs than the raiders offense :D

Mabye they'll get someone good out of it and they might win a game next year. I wouldn't hold out much hope for them for a few years though.

Did anybody catch Quinn against LSU? He was absolutely diabolical. The inherent flaw in the college game, which makes it (Boise State comebacks aside) a bit of a farce to me, is the teams choose their own schedules and pad them with really brutal D3 types so people like Brady Quinn can build up amazing stats.

The bare fact is he and Notre Dame beat 2 decent teams amongst that 10-2 record that 'looks' fabulous. That, and he was absolute rubbish against LSU

If I were Oakland I would dig a little deeper

Oakland should consider trading down a few sports and take JaMarcus Russell and an o-lineman. They desperately need a LT, Gallery's awful

I heard hes very good, and alot of people rate him higher then Quinn, never seen him though. But after his LSU performance he will be drafted alot higher, so its too risky trading down just to get him as the Lions might just take him. Lions will definitly take a QB i think.

I'd like Adrian Peterson, heard hes good. Gallery is a joker, and he has put me off drafting wasting anothr top pick on a o-line. I dont see the point wasting a good draft pick on a o-line just to surrond him by a bunch of girls.

Better of signing a few experienced free agent O-line men. And draft some in the 2nd or 3rd spot and see how they get on. Although there no points drafting a RB or QB with our unless we get some decent signing in the O-line.

We can trade Moss and Porter, why bother having Moss when we dont have a QB to throw to him? Also whenever a QB manages to get enough time to throw it he ends up dropping it, probaly on purpose.

Russell has a big arm, Moss would love that.

very nice. Just looked at this highlights from the LSU and Irish game here.

Looks like a tubby Vince young, or byran leftwich. The ability to be able to move well in the pocket would be very helpful for a radiers QB.

I'm fairly certain the Lions take wide receivers in the first round, every year!!:D

If the hype around Russell lasts through the combine there won't be any trading down, he'll go 1 or 2

Brady Quinn is quality, but will need a season behind a veteran, Kitna in Detroit would be perfect.

The Raiders will take JaMarcus Russell number 1.....which is a shame for him coz i think he could be the next McNabb......6-6, strong, good feet and did you SEE that arm against Notre Dame???? 60 yard flick

i do think they should do a Jets and trade it, get a couple of O-Linemen, and dont forget Matt Schaub is a free agent this spring! He would be a great fit there

The Bay Area sports franchises are getting quite an upheaval, with the A's leaving the Colliseum and moving to Fremont, and the 49ers leaving Candlestick and moving to Santa Clara, despite the best efforts of Oakland and San Francisco cities.

Profiles in fandom: Robert Charles Comer

True story: In 1987, Robert Charles Comer befriended a fellow camper, then robbed him and shot him in cold blood. The meth-fueled sociopath went to another campsite. Using an EMT badge he stole from the dead man, he persuaded a young couple that he was a drug enforcement agent. After winning their trust, he assaulted and bound the couple. Comer raped the woman repeatedly in front of her boyfriend, then abducted her. Miraculously, she managed to escape after Comer’s truck broke down. He was apprehended the next day.

Months later, an Arizona judge handed down a death sentence while a naked, belligerent Comer sat strapped to a wheelchair, surrounded by armed by deputies. While in prison he developed a nasty habit of trying to stab guards and fellow inmates with crudely-fashioned knives. In 2000, Comer waived his remaining appeals, asking that his punishment be carried out.

In late 2007, Comer was put death by lethal injection. When asked if he had any final words. Comer proclaimed with his final breath, “Go Raiders.”

Clearly, Robert Charles Comer was the least objectionable Raiders fan who ever lived.
