PHP decimal problem!??

I'm trying to get a decimal to print to screnn like so 00.00 but whe it queries the DB i get the value back and then divide it and echo it to screen but i always get like this 00.0000000000 which doesn't look very nice! Anyone know how to stop this happening or how to format php variables to just 2 decimal places????

got it sorted, used this:
printf("%01.2f", $value);

i would normaly use this as it adds , in the thousands aswell ie. 1,000.00
[PHP]echo number_format($value, 2);[/PHP]
