Anybody coming over to Bolton to play 1st leg of Uk Poker Tour

I'm making one of my rare live tourney entries, playing in the £1k main event in Bolton Grosvenor Casino on 12th Jan, it's just 20 miles or so from me, just wondering if anybody is coming over for it.

Let me know if any of ye are and sure we might have a pint or 2

I'm thinking about going over for this now that you've mentioned it.

Is this the Blue Square Tour? Added money and all that jazz?

I just checked the Blue Square site and there is added prize money, didn't realise this

Ollieboy is going over, he won the seat for the best overall performance in 5 gold rings festival.

There are qualifiers for all these events on GJP.

I was looking for them and didnt find them

so just bought in direct - knowing my penchant for going out on the bubble it probably ends up costing me less anyway

Yeh flights and hotels book, I think this tour event as great protential and it will be nice to get involved in the early stages etc, with the TV coverage I think people will be mad not to go and give this a try if they want to get sponsorship and make a full-time living out of poker etc, this is how JP got his deal last year.

The tourneys on GJP are good value and its mostly the same players each week, loads of tickets up for grabs and I'll be hoping to take one down later this month.

Also, most of the events on this tour are all accessable from Dublin airport.

I sure will do Ollie, I registered on new year's eve at the casino, it's a fair enough sized casino and looks a decent venue inside.

I haven't seen any of the tournies on GJP, I looked a few times over last few weeks, any posted there now?

Any idea which TV channel(s) it's going to be on?

So according to that there should be one available for tomorrow at 9:15, I don't see one available in gjp tourney lobby though? And I've checked before according to bluesuare schedule and haven't seen them in tourney lobby!

that's what the bluesq site says, but, I don't think its every week, just certain weeks in the run-up to the events...

This is mostly directed at GJP - Mike Lacey et al - I've got an email from Bluesquare saying there's a rebuy tonight at 9:15 for Bolton and a freezeout on Sunday, not that it matters to me as I've bought in for the event already but thought you might want to be aware of this.. this is not available on GJP as far as I can see?

Are Bluesquare blocking this from the GJP skin? Or has there been some sort of mix-up?

Anyway thought you would like to know.
