Would you ever make a loose call in single seat satelite?

I was playing on Ultimatebet not so long ago in $100 rebuy for Copenhagen EPT, down to last 4, my stack is about average, when I raise from cutoff with AJs, the BB who has about the same size stack, maybe a little more calls me, now imo he's prob the best of the 4 of us, anyway flop misses me, i do continuation bet and he check raises me for a decent amount, I have an easy fold.

two hands later I'm in the sb again with AJs and I raise pot size again, the BB who is a LAG but not quite a maniac calls me, flop comes Qxx(2 hearts - I had none), again I do continuation bet of about 2/3rds pot, he raises all-in.

I have him covered just about, anyway I fold here again, I can't help feeling though that unlike in the 1st hand the chances that I got bluffed off the pot are really high, my pot odds are a little over 2 to 1, can't remember exactly but may have been as good as 5 to 2, when I fold here my stack has gone quite low less than half the average stack and just about 14 xbb, I actually went out in very next hand with AJs again against the then BB who defo had maniacal tendencies and raised me all-in with 66 - he would have raised all-in with hands like K6s btw or A4o so I had automatic call imo, and his 66 held up :(

Maybe it's just after the event but the penultimate hand bothered me, would anybody think to give myself a chance for the 1 seat and the high probability that the BB is on a bluff it might be worth taking the gamble of a call, especially as this guy has seen me fold to similar raises on flop a few times now and he is definitely one capable of making a raise here with air.

btw for the record I still feel the fold was the right thing given that he could be making moves with not great hands like 22, 33 but they are still ahead of my AJs, just wondering if anyone else would take the gamble though

Also on a side note - the continuation bet here I'm a bit dubious about, I think in most cases it's fine but against this particular guy and since he's just seen me fold to a check raise after doing one, maybe I should have put a lid on my SLAG tendencies for that hand!?

Looking back though pokertracker, that 1st AJs was actually from about 30 hands earlier, so it wasn't that relevant.

By the time it has gone to 2nd AJs hand. My stack has dropped to 3rd at just over 41K, while Lagish guy to my left has now 55k, so he actually had me covered. blinds and antes are same as above.

I raised pot size from small blind with this AcJc, the board actually was 9d 4d 5c, so my hand is a little bit stronger than what I originally posted having overcards plus backdoor flush draw.
However after pre flop raise there is 11,400 in pot, i betted 8000 and he raises all-in, I have 27,710 left to call with so I have worked it out at 1.7/1 odds - a good deal worse than I originally thought I had when I made this post - this makes it very much a fold in my eyes.

Anyway in the case I have brought up I think even more so now after looking back through the hand that a fold was the only sensible option, so guess the only thing I can salvage out of my muddled up post(soz still recovering from all the xmas booze) :o is are you prepared to take a gamble when there is only 1 seat going in a spot like this and what kind of pot odds would you deem acceptable to call against a LAG(though not maniac) in this spot?
