Everywhere I've seen them , they have been €80 - I don't think there's much leeway in the price!

Ya i paid 95 but it was the same in virgin when i looked in there .traded in against it so i didnt care much at the time . Pay what ever it takes cus it rocks hard took five mins to set up plug in - lower firewall - run test - chainsaw time.

    for €79.99 in Harvey Normans.

Don't think you'll find it cheaper anywhere else. And yeah, I saw the Game price as well.

Welcome to the free market economy! There's obviously enough idiots around buying em.

You dont have to use first-party one though, right? Can't you use PC ethernet-based ones too?

I bought a ethernet based one on ebay! works brilliant and works on ps2, xbox, xbox360, pc and anything with ethernet connection and you dont even need a wireless router and works within 100 feet thro walls, ceilings:) just plug it in to the router and the small box and then to the xbox etc. and box on that side no technical no how need at all fool proof!! best thing i ever bought and all 4 €35 includin delivery:D instead of €80 for a ting that doesnt do half the tings!

I got a couple of those homeplugs

They're a bit pricey but brilliant.
Those are the 85Mb/s models. The 14Mb/s are cheaper.

I'd reccomend them if you need the 85Mb/s and if you have a few devices you want to network but if it's just for one Xbox 360 to get onto Live the wireless route is cheaper (as long as you have a wireless router already though).
