So, seeing as I'm in this part of the world (even though it costs more to fly to Aus from Japan than Ireland  ), I've decided to make the trip down for this tournament along with a few others. But as usual, can't really justify a EUR6300 tourney buy in all out of my own pocket. It's just too much for one event and especially considering I'm travelling around at the moment and not playing very much I need to keep an eye on my cash. So I've decided to sell off a portion of myself if anybody is interested. I'm feeling good about this event, I've gotten alot of experience playing long slow structured events over the last year and if I can manage to get a bit of luck I'm pretty confident of a decent result. The last four big buy in tourneys I played in I felt I played perfect poker but just couldn't get lucky in key situations. The last two EPT's I made it to day two and just outside the money both times with little or no cards at all. In the BAPT and WSOP I went out both times on day one, flopping the Q high flush vs nut flush in the BAPT against aggro loon and not having KK beat AJ all in pre also against aggro loon in the WSOP. So with a little more luck I think I should do really well in this tourney.

Also most of my best results have come after long breaks from the game, while on holidays etc, so hopefully this will be another one of those.

The last time I sold shares was for face value, but that was the Dublin EPT, so there were no expenses, but this time there will be so I think it's fair enough to charge a premium. From www.xe.com as of today, $10,500AUS = EUR6300 (no euro signs on Jap keyboards!), so at face value 1% would be EUR63. I think selling 1% for EUR80 is fair considering the expenses of this trip. So if anybody is interested just reply here.

As regards getting the money, as usual I need to get it before I play, so I'm going to get a few people to do collections for me at the IPC this weekend lol. I haven't asked any of them yet but if any of you are interested in investing and will be at the IPC just reply here and I'll give you details of who to give the cash to. Dave Callaghan is going to transport it over for me on the 9th when he flys out. OK, that was pretty long, cheers in advance to anybody who's interested.

2.5% here too. I won't be at the IPC but I can neteller it or whatever.

    Hi Dave,

    I'll take 5% for €400???

Return = 5% of total payout in main event???

I'll give the money to Dave Callaghan, Oscar or one the lads that are travelling over.

    Hope you're enjoying your travels.

Carfax, Dave wrote up the % payout. For 5% of buying amount it would be 5*63/80 % of the payout or 4% approx.

    Cheers Dev,

I'm just too lazy to read Daithio's post.....What is he doing typing all that nonsense. Does he think he has to convince us to buy shares???

Still €400 for me Daithio, best of luck.
5% investment for 4% (approx) return, - I'm gonna be rich, woo hoo!!!.

does it not read 400 for 5%, other wise there would be a double premium. 5% would be 315 (5*63), but he charged a premuim bringing that to 400(5*80). so 400 should give you 5% of whatever is won.

Ill give Dave or Niall the money.

    Hi Dave

Looks like this could be oversubscribed but I'll do 5% @ EUR400

I'll be at the IPC so I'll have the cash to hand, I can give it to Niall or one of the lads.

I refered to the % as a % of the buy-in amount. Either way its pretty clear what Dave is offering.

Cheers lads, that's great. I was looking to set the max at 40% but whoever is in so far that's fine, if you can just get the money to Niall at the weekend that'd be great.

DapperGent- I don't use neteller but if you pm Niall (ocallagh) he can give you his details and sort me out with the cash.

Flipper- How much are you interested in buying?

Thanks again, hopefully I'll be giving it back to you all with interest in a couple of weeks!

I'll take 5% but if you've only got room for 2.5%, that's fine. If you're awake I'm MSN now and will be for the next 2 hours
