So did anybody actually use this before,i think it would be wicked if you suspected cheating partners or parents that were worried about their wild children.

Its costly too i seen one phone that had the works for sale at $4000.

Yeah, I heard about this before. Used by parents to protect their children. Seems more like interfering.

I guess their phone credit would go down faster for having to send all those extra texts to your phone?

Oh God! freaky. I love this bit:
    "Solid state-of-the-art bullet-proof Spyphone."

    Bullet proof??

I firmly believe that parents who engage in this sort of behaviour tend to be (unintentionally) terrible parents.

And children adapt to their parents' cunning. If my mother even suspected I was out of line I got smacked. If she was secretly tracing my phone messages or depending on getting proof for misbehaviours, I would probably have managed to outsmart her and my mis-demeanours would have gone unchecked.

(But of course, I was actually an angelic child:) )

Just a tad over the top me thinks, just a tad like. :) As mentioned, probably much bigger phone bills.

Yes, if you have that much fear in your kids having a phone, why are you paying for them to even have a phone?

And if you fear your spouse is texting a lover, then chances are, problems existed long before that.

Social technology is leading us in the wrong direction in many ways.

    Why?

If you suspected your spouse was cheating I reckon it would be a good device to catch them out. Private eyes are ridiculously expensive these days. ;)

That does seem a bit over the top. Its easier to just nab their phone and go through the sent messages.

As a parent of teenagers I cant agree totally with what some posters have said, but I do agree a spy phone is a tad (approx 1.34564 light years) over the top.

Suspecting cheating partners? If I suspected my partner was cheating I would confront them, not spy on them and listen in on their phone calls. Everyone's privacy should be respected. If you're having relationship / trust problems then that's a seperate issue altogether.

The same reason tapping someone phone is illegal.

I used to work for Orange in the UK, I dealt with contract customers and one huy called to ask if he could lock the phonebook and text messages on his handset. Now I'm not sure about you but why? Did he have something to hide?

Also had a lady call to ask if she could change her number as her ex was harrasing her. No problem, but could take upto 24hrs to work. You get a txt read it, delete it, turn off for 30 secs, turn on, number changed, simple.

It never took more than about 3 or 4 hours in my experience, but we had to say that to cover ourselves. (caller : why isn't my number/txts/roaming/mms service working? it's been all morning! etc)

I went into the config screen and read her the number and advised her to tell all her contacts the new number before it changed. So set it in motion and then that system was locked. I.E. we couldn't do anything else to that account until the number change went through, set mms, add roaming etc. But it didn't clear for 24hrs even though the change might have happened.

A few hours later she called again and asked if she could change her number because her ex was harrasing her. Funny I thought I had another lady with the same request. Anyway I explained it would cost her £10 on her next bill, take 24hrs etc, then went into the config screen.

You have a number change going through I said, I can't change it until it clears. I know she said it has happened, but I txted my ex to say Ha Ha you can't contact me anymore!

DOH! wonder if she was blonde!

    Here's a couple more,

    1) I told a sub she needed a sim update, so she said I'll give you my mum's address as I'm staying with her!

    2) Elderly lady said could I tell the lady she was talking to before me she was extremely helpful and to ask her for her name so she could send her a thankyou card, turned out she was talking about the press 1 for billing, press 2 for faults etc recording!

    3) Guy said he couldn't make calls, but was calling from his handset!

    4) Guy said could he get roaming added to his phone as he was going 'on tour' in the UK - he was english!

    5) Guy said his charger was broken, went through the diag system, then he said it wont charge my razor.

Have a good one all and take it sleazy!

Scary. Reminds me of an ad I saw in the US, something that allows parents to track their kids' location by their phone.

We'll all be implanted with chips next. You'll be able to call anyone ya like without having to take out a phone and dial a number. Then I can wake up anyone at 3am. Muahaha! I'll be immune to this because I'll be the creator of the device, and I'll have the only device that cannot be called by people I don't want calling me.... wait I've said too much. >.<

you could always prove you are a great parent by buying one of those dvd players that blocks out all nudity, swearing and violence. or you could monitor what the kiddies are watching. parents who buy all this crap are so ****ing lazy

All too reminiscent of 1984. People should have the right to privacy, even if those people happen to be children/teenagers sending x-rated messages.

I think it's good for parents to keep an eye on their children, but this .... this is definitely an invasion of privacy - like a mother reading her daughter's journal to make sure she's not having sex. Good intention, bad method.

It looks illigal to me tbh. Spying on someone elses texts. Then again the tabloid press get away with it.

Has anyone looked at some of the other stuff for sale on the site, like the trusty....

    SEMEN DETECTION KIT

Do you suspect your spouse / partner of being unfaithful? Do you want to prove beyond doubt this is the case. then our home semen detection system can be used to confirm this. The test is used to detect traces of semen left in underwear after sex. This works by using a simple chemical process that takes only a few minutes. This is the only product of its kind that has 100% accurate results.

    also

    Pen cam
    Button cam
    Tie cam
    Pinhole Surveillance Camera
    snap gun lock pick
