    There was fierce demand for them the States. I hoped to get one after the Christmas rush, but it just didn't happen. One Gamestop got ten Wii consoles the day after Christmas... the lot were sold within ten minutes.

    I'll be settling with Twilight Princess on the Cube for the time being. Also picked up Batallion Wars, Chibi Robo and Fire Emblem at dirt cheap prices. That should keep me going for a good while.

    At this point I think I'm going to hold out on this next generation of video games until next Christmas... I'll be in a much better position to survey which console has the most games I'm interested in playing, 'cos imo there's simply no clear cut winner at the moment. Of course, Sony have alot of work to do. :)

    You're better off imo.
    As soon as I finish Zelda I know that I'll regret spending all that money on my Wii... Wii Sports is great craic, but apart from that I can't see me getting much use out of it until Metroid comes out... nothing due for release in the next few weeks really floats my boat.
    I'm almost starting to think I would have been better off getting the cube version of Zelda and a 360 instead

    Hey guys,
    Do u already have a gamecube? I never got one so am really looking forward to gettig the GC games and playing them on the Wii, guess it won't be the same for anyone who had a GC all along though.

    Can you recommend what you feel are the best or MUST have titles for the GC?

    Metroid Prime 1 is an absolute must have (and 2 to a lesser extent)
    Pikmin 1 & 2, Smash Bros Melee, Soul Calibur 2, Paper Mario, F-Zero GX, Super Monkey Ball 2.... lots more that I can't think of now, but Resi4 and Metroid are the 2 that you should go for first.
