You have to plug it into the wiimote!!!How annoying would that be??You should just buy a Nintendo Gamecube controller cos you can use it with VC games as well as gamecube game and you pluig it into the wii itself

I fail to see how connecting it to a wireless controller could be more annoying than having to connect a controller to the Wii:confused:
The only gripe I have with the classic controller is that the cable is on the bottom of the controller instead of the top... I keep instinctively picking it up the wrong way

    Lol! Same here tman! :D

But seriously, the classic controller feels far better to use for the VC games that I've downloaded at least (DKC, Bomberman and Gunstar Heroes) than the gamecube controller or just the wii remote. Its mainly down to the better d-pad and the layout of the a,b,x,y buttons.

I think it is way better being able to plug it into the remote. In fact the main reason I got a classic pad was for this reason. You only realise how nice it is having a wireless set up (ie between you and the tv) after playing with it for a while.

But you can be sure that games like SSMB will use the classic controller and not the gamecube one.
Haven't used it yet but connecting it to the wiimote isn't a big deal; would have been better if it was a wireless controller in its own right, but then you'd have more batteries to be worrying about I guess.

On an aside, I saw a link yesterday to get GC-NES/SNES controller adapters so you can use the original controllers (if you have them) on the VC games; sounds like a worthy investment to me!
