Problem tuning mustek r580 hdd dvd into tv channels

    Hi guys,
    I got a mustek r580 hdd dvd recorder for Christmas. It connects up grand to tv, plays dvd's fine. I have the cable coming from the aerial on roof connected to dvd player then running a seperate cable from that to Tv. The problem is when I go to tune in the tv channels into the dvd player it wont work, it doesnt detect any of the channels. Any suggestions on how I might be able to sort this out,

    I have the same problem with my mustek R580,also with auto tune it does not find any channel,does any one know how to solve this? Thanks,Gunther
