I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a playlist for the afters of my wedding which I'll be having in Barcelona. The crowd will be fairly mixed age wise and all Irish and I'd like to have more older, sing along type music( from 60's to 80's preferably ) rather than newer banging chooooones!!! Any idea's would be greatufully appreciated as I'm cracking up trying to decide!!!

Cradle of Filth, followed by My Dying Bride, and to finish, some Trivium.

Hey, at least it would probably be the most memorable Wedding music in history. ;)

Seriously though, how about some Enya? Could be very suitable for a wedding, and I can't think it would be objectionable.

I dont think Enya is the easiest person to dance to, never mind listen to especially to a group of half drunk paddies!!!

    Okay, you're safe with :

    Elvis
    The Beatles
    The Drifters
    The Monkees
    ABBA
    Village People

... and as the night warms up :

    Guns n Roses
    Bryan Adams
    Bon Jovi

    etc etc etc, ad nauseum.

Well, I play in a Wedding Band, and that's some of our Set List, and our Wedding DJ also plays things like The Macarena, The Cha Cha Slide, Saturday Night (All the ones with the dances so people get excited about trying them out), and of course some Irish Songs (7 Drunken Nights, tell me ma when I go home, etc), you can get the Siege of Ennis, Sweet Caroline, and then, finish the night with New York New York, for some reason, even though we're all Irish, it's a song a drunken person can't resist singing and dancing too.
