    anyone know of a good mechanic based around the Waterford area who could do some work for me on a Ford V8

    Depending what you want done any mechanic should have the knowledge. V8's are basic, none of the new electronic stuff in them, that's assuming of course thats it's an old V8.

    Better tell us what it is, but as suggested if its a lump of pre-historic Detroit iron then any good mechanic can proberly do the job.
