    i definitely call,loads of people c/call continuation bets with any pair,then interpret the turn check as weakness,and will bet the river with 88/56s or whatever they have...sometimes he has JQ or whatever,but so be it,nothing you can do really..

    So your saying that you hope his call was a float on the flop ? If i took the check as weakness on the turn surely with a PP i am checking the river cause i think MHIG or i am just bluffing ? (Surely Villian is not betting for value ?)

    The only thing that may bet that we beat is prolly 5/6 and with the 5 on the river i think this may even check thinking it may now be good.

    i really don't think most of the players at .50/1 think in these terms,i think against a random player here the bet on the river could be a bluff,a blocking bet,a value bet from a worse hand or from a better hand,and i think quite often the player making the bet won't even know which one it is...

    but this is only how i'd play against someone i knew nothing at all about,if i had any stats or any history i'd base my decision more on that...

    i agree with robin, against your standard player at this level, i think a call if profitable.

    he has repped his hand as weak, he c bet the flop then checked the turn, overcards dominate his range. Im not saying his hand is a monster and this hand has no relevance to trip queens on a AQQ suited board, which i said was not a flopped monster. No idea how you bought the two hands together.
