That's Shuai jiao . It's basically judo with short sleeves. Not sure how competitive it is in China.

Its similar to Judo except that there is no real ground work the object in the sport anyway to throw your opponent down while remaining standing although they do have double and single legs etc.

    In Beijing its pretty competitive

this is probably a better clip even if ya dont like the music :D

Doing those throws without mats seems kinda hardcore/foolhardy.

Some nice throws in Shaoi Jaoi which seem to leave you very open once you hit the ground http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR3aroAipVE . Interesting how throws like that have become increasingly popular in judo as restrictions on groundwork have increased. The ningzi seems a very good tool for building up throwing power. Wonder what sort of links exist between Shaoi Jaoi and Judo in China?

Nope, all donations greatfully accepted :) Throwing without mats is pretty much like striking without gloves, you exercise a lot of control. The idea is to learn, practice and have some fun, not to batter the hell out of your sparring partners.

    Kevo,

The guy in the white (Paul Mitchell) is a world Shuai Jiao champion in his weight class, and both have entered and been successful numerous international chinese wrestling tournaments in various formats. We train Shuai Jiao as an addition to the practical tai chi chuan syllabus, and have included Shuai Jiao as part of our training for the past 3-4 years. We also do a lot of stand-up wrestling without jackets which is more typical of traditional tai chi, and can post a few more videos if there is any interest.

    Regards,

    Shane
