Couldnt help but laugh at this.

Not sure of the makes but here goes.

Buddy of mine bought a 32" LCD tv in Flor Griffins in Cork.
He has a dvd player which has worked fine over the last 12 months or so.
Connected them up via scart as was with his old tv.
    Now,
When he turns up the volume on his tv it activates the fast forward on the dvd player at the same time.. :D

Any ideas as to what might be the cause of this ?

But keeping off the dvd player is not the ideal solution .. What happens when watching a dvd? :D
