    For anyone considering a new car, and concerned about how green their car will be - if you have not looked at these reports from CNW Marketing, you should do:

    CNW's 'Dust to Dust' Automotive Energy Report

    The main metric here is the Dust-to-dust E Cost per mile. Figures are all in miles and dollars, but in any case, it is the relative costs/mile of each vehicle, rather than absolute costs, that are important. Some vehicles touted as "green" purely on petrol usage are not so green when you consider their cost of construction and their lifespan.
