Hey all, here setting up the mates new system and its all grand 42" LCD and a nice 2.1 samsung speaker set up -MCE but how do we get the TV signal into the PC?

Need to connect NTL digital to the PC does the signal come straight out of the NTL box? we have a scart free on the back of the NTL and an optical out, on the PC there is S video input free so is it a scart to svideo? (which even to me sounds a bit odd??)

    Any help much appreciated!

The NTL boxes generally do not output Svideo over SCART. They only put out composite and RGB, so your options are (both from the SCART plug):

    1. Use the composite signal
    2. Use an electronic converter to convert the RGB signal to Svideo

Option 2 is the best quality, however option 1 is still quite acceptable.
